Engine is done, not much to tell, well defined and easy to build.

Dodge Challenger Part 1 - Review
Here is my next project which is in fact a birthday gift that i received from my brother family few months back. It's true that i generally prefer old cars but the new re-styling of big muscle cars are especially well done in the past years.
So, this is the Dodge Challenger by Revell, release of 09. Dodge made his come back with this new Challenger with a bold character (more successful to my taste than the new Charger) and big V8 Hemi. For 2015, a new slight restyling is done with Hellcatt supercharged version which is claiming to be the most powerful muscle car in production for these days (>700 HP).
The kit is very detailed, over 100 parts, much more than the AMT one which doesn't include engine. Not so much flash, there are two set of trims, detailed suspension, brakes, engine and a nice chassis.
I'm not still decided about the paint body color, red, orange and the trims, but coming soon.

Mustang - Part 21 - Final
Following the last part, i added windows, body and chassis together.
I consider now this one as done!
Well, i spent 6 months on this model (i know this is slow, but taking time is a good quality for a modeler) and in overall, i find this kit really good for a very nice car.
I have to improve myself on paint jobs but this is good start and i enjoyed building this kit.

Mustang - Part 20 - Clear coat
So, after painting the body with matt paint, i used gloss coat over it... and i don't know what happened, but the result is semi gloss...
I didn't want to redo all of it again, and decided to keep it like that. It's supposed to be a used car, so the paint is not brand new. I have others kits to work on shinny paint.
Then, I put on all the lights and bumpers.

Mustang - Part 19 - Body paint
In the past weeks, i've practised airbrushing on the mustang, and i found that it's not easy to have the good balance between paint/thinner, pressure, and distance.
Anyway, on my first attempts, i have sprayed too many layers over and over. I tried to wetsanding it on 2000, but it was worse at the end.
So i decided to do it again, but this time, only few layers.
Then, i painted the chrome (i plan to try bare metal foil on others models) and added the decals for light turn signals.

Awing - Part 17
Back on the Awing for a little while, i've not a huge motivation, but i would like to complete it at some point within this year.
Some detail painting have to be done on the ship, as the red composition and some grey panels here and there. I've a ton on washes to applied later on.
It was a good exercise to practice with masking tapes even if using paintbrush you need to make corrections.

Mustang Part 18 - Windshield
Chassis and interior has been put together. I added the radiator and details on the battery. Wheels have been sanded to look like used.
The original windshield is one clear plastic piece for both front and rear windows, with extra piece in between supposed to be on the interior roof. I decided to split it in two pieces and sanded the interior roof to make it flat.
