Dodge Challenger Part 9 - Final

Finally the dodge is done, i wanted to keep it minimal for the decals. 
It took me one year, but i'm satisfied with the results.

Dodge Challenger Part 8

It has been a while, but i'm back to finish up this car.
After re-painting the body i used the micro mesh to get a better finish without going to far into the paint. It was OK, not the mirror finish that i expected but that's better than before. I put everything together, only the back bumper was difficult to glue.
Only the decals to be done and this is finished.

Dodge Challenger Part 7

Hi!

Woaw, this is a very long time since last update. Beginning of the year was heavily difficult for me with massive workload and travel flights. Though, there has been some updates on the challenger. First of all, on the chassis, transmissions and exhausts are set, with weathering and detailling. Then, the body... i have issues with this... first, i apply klir with airbrush then brush, but it went all wrong and bad, no glossy at all, it was a mess. I decided to go for the micro mesh sanding paper but the klir coats were so bad that i prefered to start over. So i take down the paint, and apply a clean new coat. Unfortunately i have lots of dust in my apartment, but we'll see. For now, the body is curing quietly.

Dodge Challenger Part 6

There has been a while since my last update, mainly due to numerous travels that kept me away from home.
I started to bring details painting on the chassis, the windows, and applied first coat of glossy paint on the body. There are a lot of orange peel at this point.

Dodge Challenger Part 5 - Dashboard

I've completed the dashboard, and interior is almost finished. Things looking good so far.

Dodge Challenger Part 4 - Seats

For the interior, i choose a two tones grey contrast to match with the glossy orange body.
I spend some time to use masking tape on seats and door panels, and it came out OK.
Little touches of silver here and there and decals on seats are nice.

Dodge Challenger Part 3 - Brakes

Brakes and suspensions are almost finished.
Brembo decals are a nice touch to provide details.
Suspensions were painted semi gloss black, i tried to paint red the springs in gloss red.
